Burhakaba Town Section committee (BTSC)
BTSC is legally registered with the Ministry of interiorand Internal Affairs of the Federal Government of Somalia.

In response to the global alarm for poverty, food insecurity and economic crises, the lack of strong state actor responsible for development in Somalia, a team of local native intellectuals and professionals led by Mr. Mustafa Abdurrahman Osman (Adeerow) founded BTSC in 2007. BTSC is a Somali institution whose primary goal is to support the grass root level of the society in Burhakaba, by undertaking various humanitarian projects in the district. BTSC has focused its intervention and efforts mainly to community basic need services. BTSC is a principal of Buurhakaba based NGOs dedicated to help children, families and communities throughout district territories. The grass roots programs focus on health, nutrition, water, sanitation and hygiene and food security/livelihoods. BTSC’s mission is to develop and provide integrated and innovative solutions in cooperation with local, National, regional, and international partners, which encourage action and transformation for securing the future of the vulnerable and marginalized communities’ in General Southern regions in particular Burhakaba District, Bay region. BTSC’s vision is to have an independent, wealthy and sensitive society by working together with stakeholders and partners. Our interventions aim to achieve to a large degree, positive changes through cost-effective and social programs that enable vulnerable groups, children, women and men to realize their potential.
